NC Wildlife provides a pdf form that you can use to give permission for hunters to hunt your land. Temporary Hunting Lease. I received one the other day for opening day dove hunt. Worked like a charm for me and the farmer. Thank you farmers of North Carolina. This is not the form to use for a long term or exclusive hunting lease.

Will Caveats & Fiduciary Litigation – Eminent Domain – Civil Litigation

New Hunting rules for 2020-2021 includes requirement that permission to hunt another’s land needs to be in writing annually. This is part of the Landowner Protection Act. The NCwildlife site says:

Sportsmen now need written permission, dated within the past 12 months, signed by the landowner or lessee, to hunt, fish, or trap on private lands posted with signs or purple paint.

It’s taken decades for the Schlitz beer to return to its former glory, if only in taste. Sadly, market share was destroyed in the 1970’s.

For American style beers, I find Schlitz better than the others.

It used to be brewed in Winston-Salem along with Stroh’s on the southside.

If you appreciate your boxwoods as much as I do, be aware there is a fungal blight attacking the boxwoods in Surry County and in Winston-Salem.

Tips include making sure air can circulate through the boxwoods. Clean your clippers before moving to a new boxwood.

My unproven theory on the spread: lawnmowing crews carry the fungs from yard to yard on their equipment.
