A Carolina Ale House has a planned opening for November 2013 on Hanes Mall Blvd.

Carolina Ale House is expanding to 21 sites, including Charleston, SC, Texas, and Tennessee.

Our County Commissioners have decided the fate of the new Central Library. There plan: renovate the existing space. See photo above.

There was an excellent proposal by Glenn Fulk, a NY architect to use the existing Sheriff’s office.

His design would have created a state of the art – next generation library and park.

Northern Beltway Attorneys fighting DOT

Tags

, ,

For over a decade property owners in the path of the Northern Beltway have had a black mark on their real estate title.

The NC DOT designated their properties in the beltway corridor.

As a result they can’t sell their properties. This has also occurred in Raleigh/Triangle area too.

Kirk was part of the one firm stood up and fought for these property owners.

Kirk Sanders was part of a small law firm that fought that this designation on the DOT is a ‘taking’ per the condemnation statute. In addition, they have litigated that this should be a class action matter. The class action certification was fought all the way to the N.C. Supreme Court in late August of 2013. http://www.wral.com/homeowners-in-dot-s-path-seek-legal-relief/12837256/

If you are a property owner in the Northern Beltway or affected in the Triangle/Raleigh area, call Kirk Sanders. He and his old firm told the DOT that if you are going to take a person’s property, you better pay for it.

Call 336-768-1515 to speak with Kirk about a condemnation case affecting you or your business.
